GlobalPlatform Announces Wuhan Tianyu Information Industry, Co., LTD As Its Newest Member
10 September 2007 – Wuhan Tianyu Information Industry Co., Ltd, a smart card solutions provider for the telecommunications, finance, ID and security industries, has become the latest organization to join the fast expanding membership of international smart card specifications body, GlobalPlatform.
As one of China’s leading smart card and smart card device suppliers, Tianyu has experience in developing card and application systems based on GlobalPlatform’s suite of technical specifications, and joins GlobalPlatform to begin actively contributing to the body’s future technology advancements.
Participating in GlobalPlatform activity as an Observer Member, Tianyu representatives will participate in the association’s Advisory Council meetings, providing the company with an opportunity to influence the direction of GlobalPlatform initiatives, and network with the smart card business and technical community to discuss the latest industry issues and trends.
