A big thank you to everyone who joined us at the Spring Member Meeting—your participation helps drive the GlobalPlatform community forward. For those that were not able to attend, the meeting minutes will be available in the member workspace and the CRA Conformance Summit will soon be available online.

As connected technologies continue to expand across industries, the need for robust, standardized security has never been more critical. Over the next few months and the rest of the year, GlobalPlatform will be convening experts across automotive, payments, and secure technologies to turn insight into action. Join us for the upcoming Cybersecurity Vehicle Forum events, the technical trainings this summer and the Digital Wallet Seminar this fall.

Cybersecurity Vehicle Forum –
May 19 (Detroit) & May 26 (Tokyo)

GlobalPlatform’s Cybersecurity Vehicle Forum returns this May with two regional sessions focused on advancing practical, scalable security for connected and software-defined vehicles.

The Cybersecurity Vehicle Forum on May 19 (hosted by Dekra) in Plymouth, Michigan will explore implementation-focused topics, including:

• SESIP-based component security evaluation and certification
• Strengthening automotive supply chain security
• Advancing Automotive Micro-TEE for HPSE requirements
• Secure element integration in next-generation vehicle architectures
• Preparing for the future with post-quantum cryptography (PQC)

The conversation continues at the Cybersecurity Vehicle Forum on May 26 in Tokyo (hosted by NTT), where global and regional stakeholders will examine how these technologies are being applied across Asia, along with the broader evolution of trusted platforms in the automotive ecosystem.

Across both sessions, the focus remains on:

• Harmonizing security certification approaches (SESIP)
• Addressing supply chain risk at scale
• Enabling secure, interoperable platforms
• Aligning on future-ready technologies

These forums bring together OEMs, Tier 1s, and technology providers to collaborate on standards-based, implementable security solutions.

Technical Week

GlobalPlatform's Technical Week is coming up soon! It will be hosted at Apple's corporate offices in Paris, France, June 22 - 26. Full and Participating members are invited to attend. A preliminary meeting schedule has been announced. The deadline for hotel room booking is May 18th and meeting registration will open soon.
