Overview
The Cybersecurity Vehicle Forum continues in Asia on May 26, 2026, with a hybrid session hosted by NTT in Tokyo, Japan. This regional forum will connect automotive and security experts to discuss the evolving trusted technology landscape, covering SESIP certification, supply chain security for automotive, Automotive Micro-TEE for HPSE requirements, secure element innovation, and the GlobalPlatform PQC roadmap.

Takahide Kadoyama has dedicated over 36 years to the secure technology and payment sectors. Following 26 years at Sony Corporation and 10 years of leadership as the Country Manager of FIME Japan, he has returned to the Sony Group and is currently serving at FeliCa Networks, Inc. His expertise lies in his ability to integrate foundational hardware knowledge with global standardization trends within real-world business contexts. He contributes to the advancement of the industry by serving as a "pragmatic bridge" connecting global standard-setting with regional business implementation.
In his role as Chief Technology Officer, Gil is responsible for defining and implementing the technical roadmap for the organization and provides counsel and guidance to the GlobalPlatform Board. He drives forward the development of GlobalPlatform’s specifications and certifications to allow markets and geographies to deploy and manage secure, value-added services. Gil also acts as GlobalPlatform’s central technical liaison point, coordinating the efforts of the technical committees, market task forces and liaisons with industry partners.
In his role at Thales, Gil supports the evolution of the Digital Identity and Security roadmap by enabling open innovation and securing participation in funded innovation projects.
Bill is the co-chair of the Automotive Task Force at GlobalPlatform. Drawing on his extensive experience in standardizing hardware-protected security and cybersecurity engineering processes within the automotive industry, Bill is committed to guiding the sector toward a unified, secure, and scalable foundation for the next generation of software-defined vehicles.
Jorge has a strong background in cybersecurity and the secure software development lifecycle with more than 15 years of wide experience including one of the most significant companies in the field of security, and assuming the role of Security Leader. In addition, Jorge is an appointed expert from ENISA for different topics related to ICT certification including ICT products, cloud, and AI. He participates in different security working groups (CSA Matter, Cloud Security Alliance, Linux Foundation, ioXt, and others) and standardization activities (as editor of one of the standards related to EUCS and member of ISO WG 11 & 12.)
As part of his role, Jorge is currently leading a security evaluation lab focused on penetration testing and security evaluations for different products' verticals including automotive, medical, industrial, and IoT devices.
Richard Hayton is on the Board of Directors, and is also the Chair of the TEE Committee at GlobalPlatform where he contributes to the organization’s technical initiatives bringing over 30 years of experience in the cybersecurity industry. Richard is a regular speaker and influencer in the cybersecurity arena.
At Trustonic, Richard’s focus has been on enabling the telecoms industry – manufacturers and mobile operators, the automotive industry as well as application developers, to all benefit from embedded security and strong device identity. Prior to Trustonic, Richard held various roles at Citrix including Chief Architect, Distinguished Engineer and Chief Technology Officer. During 20 years at Citrix, he led projects ranging from embedded software to global enterprise systems, with a focus on user and developer experience.
He holds a PhD in Computer Science from Cambridge University, focusing on identity federation for users, devices and services.
