Letter from GlobalPlatform’s Executive Director

The second quarter of 2019 is off to a great start at GlobalPlatform.

In April we unveiled the agenda for our upcoming Device Security Workshop in Washington DC, unveiled our new Kekicheff Award, and made key website content available in Chinese and Japanese.

Preparations are also going well for the upcoming seminar in Shenzhen. You can submit speaker proposals on the following topics here.

  • Industrial and consumer IoT
  • Identification and authentication
  • Device trust
  • Payment and value added services
  • Premium content protection and digital rights management (DRM)
  • Certification
  • Securing an ecosystem: cloud to fog to device
  • The future of security

Please feel free to extend this invitation to your customers and business partners as they may also have an interesting speaking proposal for our Steering Committee to consider.
