Over the last few months we have been keeping you informed about updates to GlobalPlatform’s visual identity, including a new logo and color scheme. As you may have noticed in February, we also launched the new GlobalPlatform newsletter -and that is not all we have been busy working on! Our new public website will go live in the Spring, so please look out for further announcements.

Please note, event discounts and offers are included at the bottom of the newsletter. The discount codes are available on the members-only website here.

We are also excited to announce that GlobalPlatform’s annual seminar will take place in Shanghai in September. The theme this year is ‘Security in our Connected World’ and for the first time it will cover all GlobalPlatform technologies, including TEE, SE and RoT. We are holding an open call for speakers, so if you would like to make a submission please find further details below.

Finally, I am looking forward to seeing you all in San Diego next month for our all-member meeting week. If you haven’t registered your attendance yet, please remember to do so by Friday 30 March.

With kind regards,
Kevin Gillick

This version of Amendment F adds a new variant for Secure Channel Protocol '11'. It is named SCP11c and uses ephemeral keys only on the off-card side. This mechanismallows off-line creation of card management scripts. In addition, the usage of the same key pairs and certificates for groups of cards enables such scripts to be processed by the whole group.

Please provide your comments in the form available and send to amend-F-review@globalplatform.org by Thursday 5 April 2018.
