Introduction to Device Trust Architecture

In today’s connected world, trust is essential. New IoT devices and services are emerging and the attack surface is growing. To address this issue, GlobalPlatform has released a new business publication that explains how its Device Trust Architecture (DTA) provides a security framework that can be used by all IoT actors to build Chains of Trust using GlobalPlatform’s secure component technology.

The document outlines why Chain of Trust technology and DTA are necessary for device manufacturers, digital service providers and cloud platform providers. It also explains how GlobalPlatform standards define a secure baseline to protect value added digital services.
