Registration is now open for the 5th Annual Trusted Execution Environment (TEE) Seminar
It gives me great pleasure to announce that registration is now open for the 5th Annual Trusted Execution Environment (TEE) Seminar. This year’s event will take place in Beijing on 12 September, with the theme ‘Providing Security for Digital Devices’. This is the only industry event focused on the evolving TEE landscape, and it’s growing rapidly. In fact, more than a billion processors that can support TEE are shipped worldwide every quarter. The seminar will provide a unique opportunity for all stakeholders engaged in the development and deployment of TEE technology to discuss use cases across various market sectors, the current status of the market, and future business requirements.
To make good use of delegates’ time in Beijing, we have planned for a two-day TEE Specifications Training class to take place on 13-14 September at this same location. The class, taught in English, has limited space available, so register today to guarantee your place. We look forward to seeing you in Beijing!

Board of Directors Nomination Process
The nomination process for open Board seats is now open and will close on August 31
All Full Member companies in good standing are able to nominate a candidate for consideration by the voting members. The five (5) Board seats available for election are as follows:
• ARM – Rob Coombs
• FIME – Stéphanie El Rhomri
• Gemalto – Rémi de Fouchier
• Oracle – Sebastian Hans
• ST Microelectronics – Yves Moulart
Membership levels other than Full must upgrade to Full Membership prior to 30 August to be eligible to nominate a candidate from their company.
An email was distributed to all Full Members when the nomination period officially began. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the GlobalPlatform Secretariat.

Fast Track Submissions
We are pleased to announce that GlobalPlatform has a newly revised Fast Track Process and is again open to receiving Fast Track submissions from the membership. The first Fast Track contribution received, GlobalPlatform Card Technology Open Firmware Loader for Tamper Resistant Element v1.3 was recently published and the Board took the decision to use this contribution to fine-tune the details of the process. A revised process has now been approved and can be found in Section 8 of GlobalPlatform’s Technology Document Management Guide.

- Glob alPlatform Card Executable Load File Upgrade Card Specification v2.3 – Amendment H v1.0.0.3 - This update to the Executable Load File Upgrade amendment adds the support to upgrade multiple Executable Load Files in one upgrade session.
