March has been a very busy month for GlobalPlatform!

Since the last newsletter, we have published the world’s first open specifications to facilitate the standardization of integrated secure elements, published a new Industrial IoT use case and hostsed a webinar exploring Device Trust Architecture (DTA).

GlobalPlatform Takes First Steps Towards ‘Integrated’ Secure Element Standardization

GlobalPlatform has published the world’s first open specifications to facilitate the standardization of integrated secure elements. Chip, device and firmware developers now have a standardized way to load and manage firmware – combining the secure operating system (OS), applications and data – in a secure and isolated area of a device’s System on Chip (SoC).

A new use case investigating Industry 4.0, and the role GlobalPlatform technology plays in securing it, has been published on the website.
