GlobalPlatform Welcomes INSIDE Contactless As Newest Member
2 February, 2007 - GlobalPlatform's membership continues to grow, with INSIDE Contactless, a leading global semiconductor provider dedicated exclusively to contactless technology, becoming the latest organization to join the ranks of the international smart card specifications body.
As a Participating Member of GlobalPlatform, INSIDE Contactless representatives will play a proactive role in the Card Committee and the organization's newly formed Mobile Task Force, which has been created to expand the scope and reach of GlobalPlatform within the mobile industry. As with every GlobalPlatform Member, INSIDE Contactless will also be entitled to participate on the Advisory Council, which provides direct access to the GlobalPlatform Executive Director and Board of Directors to discuss business issues and priorities of the organization.
