APPLUS+ Joins GlobalPlatform’s Expanding Membership
12 March 2009 – Applus+, a leading global testing, inspection, and certification company, has joined GlobalPlatform to gain an advanced insight into the latest technological developments and compliance requirements published by the international specification body for smart card infrastructure.
Applus+ joins GlobalPlatform as an Observer Member. This will enable Applus+ to participate in the association’s Advisory Council meetings, providing the company with an opportunity to track the work of the GlobalPlatform Technical Committees. In addition, Applus+ will be able to influence the direction of GlobalPlatform’s Task Force initiatives and exchange ideas on best practice, issues and trends with other leading players in the smart card community, including the GlobalPlatform Board of Directors.
