Dear GlobalPlatform Members,
As we move into the autumn season, I hope you are all enjoying cooler temperatures. In September, we completed the board nomination and voting process, and we are pleased to welcome Jürgen Hirschinger from Giesecke+Devrient GmbH to the GlobalPlatform board, replacing Claus Dietze.
In addition, the following board members were re-elected for a 2-year term:

Japan Task Force – Tokyo
The Japan Task Force will hold an in-person meeting with GlobalPlatform leadership at the Toshiba headquarters in Tokyo on October 23rd.

Fall Members Meeting – November 18-22
The full meeting schedule for the Fall Members meeting in Porto is now available. Make plans to join us in person for key Committee and Task Force meetings along with a joint meeting with ENISA on November 20th. We are also excited to share that Filipe Jones Mourao from the European Commission will be joining the meeting of the Security Task Force to present on the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA).

Cybersecurity Vehicle Forum
We will be hosting the next Cybersecurity Vehicle Forum on December 4th at the Palace Hotel Berlin alongside the SDV Europe conference. We will be exploring automotive security certification, SESIP for automotive, secure silicon and software defined vehicles.
