December 4, 2024
Time: 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
TImezone: CET

GlobalPlatform’s Cybersecurity Vehicle Forum series will convene in Berlin in December to explore the current and future landscape of automotive cybersecurity including standardization, hardware protected security environments, security use cases for software defined vehicles and SESIP certification for automotive.

Location:

Hotel Palace Berlin

Budapester Str. 45, 10787 Berlin, Germany

Draft Agenda Topics:

The current draft agenda is organized around four panels:

How will automotive vendors "prove" their solutions are secure?

  • Will they adopt lab-based certification?
  • Will they continue to focus processes not software (e.g. 21434)?
  • Is self certification enough for RFPS & Type approval?

SESIP For Automotive

  • How can SESIP help with type approval?
  • How can ECU-level certification be composed for a whole vehicle?
  • Other opportunities

Secure Silicon

  • Will custom silicon be rejected for standard chips? Why/Why not?
  • Opportunity for Secure Elements for HSM 2.0?
  • Does safety critical mean silicon?

Software Defined Vehicles

  • What will/won't become part of the SDV? (e.g. is Safety in or out)
  • What is the role of standards for security isolation within a SDV?
  • Mixed Criticality in software?  Is it practical to run safety critical or real time services that share CPUs with other guests.

Full details are coming soon. Registration is now open.
