- Key benefits include:
- One company vote for Board of Directors elections.
- Opportunity to become a GlobalPlatform accredited SE or TEE certification lab / test tool provider.
- Ability to participate in one Technical Committee and its associated Working Groups.
- Plus – all benefits of Observer level.
- This membership level is open to application developers, digital service providers, silicon vendors, device manufacturers, cloud platform providers, testing / evaluation labs and certification bodies of all sizes and across all industries.
- Observer members can participate in all market-based and regionally-focused task forces. They ‘observe’ progress of the Technical Committees as activity progresses, and can input into documents as they become available for early review on the member-only website.
- This membership level is open to application developers, digital service providers, silicon vendors, device manufacturers, cloud platform providers, testing / evaluation labs and certification bodies of all sizes and across all industries.
- This level of membership applies to not-for-profit organizations in the public sector, such as government entities (federal, state or provincial), educational institutes, regulators and legal entities pursuant to the applicable law of the organization.
- This level of membership applies to small companies who derive their revenues strictly from consulting services, not through product or solution sales or development. The number of company employees must not exceed five, while the number of secure component technology experts must not exceed three.

It’s easy to apply to become a GlobalPlatform member. Simply download and read our legal bylaws and IPR policy, and then complete and return our membership agreement via email to secretariat@globalplatform.org.

Please note that new members joining after October 31 within the current fiscal year will pay prorated fees based on the month that a signed membership agreement is received by GlobalPlatform.
For existing members, all GlobalPlatform process and policy documents are available on our exclusive member-only site in resource documents. These documents are also available on-request to non-members or other interested parties.
