PSA Certified Working Group

The PSA Certified Working Group (WG) is responsible for maintaining and evolving the PSA Certified scheme documentation to ensure its continued relevance, technical robustness, and value to the industry. The WG ensures that the scheme remains aligned with evolving security requirements and industry best practices.

A key objective of the WG is alignment with the SESIP evaluation methodology wherever feasible, while preserving the unique characteristics and requirements specific to PSA Certified. This dual focus supports both interoperability of practices, and the distinct positioning of PSA Certified within the broader certification ecosystem.

The PSA Certified WG builds upon the foundational work of the PSA Joint Stakeholder Agreement group and will continue its mission of:

  • Maintaining the PSA Certified documents and levels;
  • Protecting the value and meaning of the PSA Certified trademarks;
  • Keeping alignment with cybersecurity regulation;
  • Providing a common interpretation of the evaluation scheme between evaluation laboratories, CBs and developers;
  • Drive activities that will result in mutual recognition in the ecosystem with the aim of supporting re-usability;
  • Provide content/updates for the PSA Certified website and,
  • Explain how PSA Certified defines the security requirements for the chip’s RoT and easy to understand levels of robustness and assurance, built using SESIP evaluation methodology.
