Spring is here, and with it comes an exciting season of meetings, events, and collaborative opportunities! This month's newsletter highlights our upcoming Spring Member Meeting in Bangkok with sessions on CRA Conformance and Automotive Security as well as upcoming GlobalPlatform events.
As a reminder, this week, GlobalPlatform representatives will be speaking at Embedded World. CTO, Gil Bernabeu will be presenting How eSIM is evolving into a Multi-Application Secure Platform on 11 March and Dominic Rizzo will give his talk on Open-Source Silicon: Driving Innovation, Trust, and Security in Embedded Systems on 12 March. Additionally, we’ll be participating in the EU Cyber Acts Conference on 24 March with the IoT Cyber Compliance Day, presented by GlobalPlatform and on 25 March Carlos Serratos will present Conformance Without the Complexity: a Roadmap for Regulatory Readiness. Spring Member Meeting – 20-24 April – Bangkok
Our annual spring gathering brings together member organizations from across the region and the globe to collaborate on technical standards and strategic priorities. The week will include committee and task force meetings as well as opportunities to network and connect with peers. The Digital Wallet Task Force will be exploring securing payments and digital currencies as well as discussing the new Hardware Security Module (HSM) sub-task force. We’ll also be focusing on expanding the SESIP and PSA Certified ecosystems and continuing to build the foundation of the new Trusted Open Source Siliocon task force and Pavona project.

CRA Conformance Summit: Practical guidance on CRA for SESIP and PSA Certified - Sponsored by ARM and Infineon - A highlight of the Spring Member Meeting week will be the CRA Conformance Summit, a forum dedicated to addressing compliance with the EU Cyber Resilience Act. This unique session is relevant for IoT device and component manufactures with an interest in selling products in Europe. With a keynote from Maika Föhrenbach from DG Connect EU Commission, the CRA Conformance Summit will provide attendees with timely and relevant information on the EU Cyber Resilience Act. Automotive OEM Roundtable - The Automotive OEM Roundtable will convene leading original equipment manufacturers and technology partners to address the rapidly evolving security requirements of connected and autonomous vehicles. Participants will explore global standardization trends, SESIP in automotive, current and future status of TEEs and SEs and GlobalPlatform’s automotive activities.
