After a successful spring meeting in Las Vegas, we are getting ready for a very busy summer and fall.
Automotive Activities – June 4-5
First up, our automotive initiative will take center stage in Detroit at the beginning of June. We have partnered with AutoTech: Detroit to host the Cybersecurity Vehicle Forum on June 4th. All attendees will have complimentary access to the AutoTech exhibition (open June 5-6). On June 5th, we will present our work aligning GlobalPlatform specifications to SAE’s J3101 at the ESCAR USA automotive cybersecurity event. Register here for the Cybersecurity Vehicle Forum.
Technical Week – June 24-28
Later in June, full and participating members will meet in La Ciotat, France for our Technical Week. Over the week, we will review ongoing technical work, update workplans, and chart the future direction of GlobalPlatform security technologies for digital services and devices. Register here.
SESIP Updates
There are a variety of activities taking place to support the SESIP methodology. On May 8th, I am speaking on “Composition made easy with SESIP” at the Cyber Mark Trust Day at the Commercial Solutions for Classified Conference. We are also in the process of developing a CRA SESIP profile and we are continuing the mapping exercises related to new regulations and standards (e.g. IEC 62443-4-2), which we will discuss during our Technical Week at the end of June.
EUDI and eID Wallet Developments
We are also planning for the new European regulation for EUDI, which indicates a requirement for tamper-proof solutions such as a secure element. We are developing a new SE training to support EUDI, with a focus on SAM and CSP – details will be available soon. Additionally, we will be holding an eID Wallet Seminar this fall in Brussels September convening EU Member States, regulators, wallet issuers, and software developers to explore how to deliver secure eID wallet solutions that meet the requirements of the European regulation. Stay tuned for details.
Save the Date – Joint Meeting With ENISA
During the Fall Member Meeting (November 18-22) in Porto, Portugal, we will hold a joint session with ENISA to discuss GlobalPlatform’s work around identity, PQC, SESIP, and more. We look forward to seeing many of you there.
Thank you for your continued support.
Best regards,
Ana Tavares Lattibeaudiere
