Formerly known as Beijing Zhongjin Guosheng Certification Co., Ltd., this entity was officially upgraded and renamed in early 2021. It is wholly owned by the PBC-controlled China Financial E‑commerce Group (中国金融电子化集团).

Purpose & Functions:

• Serves as a national-level certification authority dedicated to fintech, operating across product, service, system, and infrastructure certifications.
• Integrates testing, certification, evaluation, technical services, and standards development to support fintech regulation, standardization, and compliant innovation gspchina.org.cn.
• Supports banking, insurance, securities, rural credit, payment institutions and fintech companies across China and internationally. It has issued over 16,000 certificates, serving more than 1,800 organizations gspchina.org.cn.

Structural Role:

• Beijing center holds a 50% stake in the Chongqing National FinTech Certification Center, forming a north-south regulatory framework alongside similar centers in Chongqing and Shenzhen.
• Acts as the secretariat of the National Financial Standardization Technical Committee, driving standard implementation across the industry.
