Asia Chip Security & EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) Seminar, covering Taiwan Security Standard for ICT Product Supply Chain (SSIPS), GlobalPlatform SESIP, EU CRA and PQC for building the next generation of trusted chip security.
Taiwan's semiconductor industry plays a critical role in the global technology supply chain, supported by ecosystem of security testing, certification, and assurance capabilities.
This seminar will showcase Taiwan's chip security standards and certification initiatives and explore how they can accelerate compliance with international cybersecurity requirements.
Particular attention will be given to the EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), emerging certification frameworks such as SESIP and SSIPS, and the growing importance of Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) in building the next generation of trusted semiconductor solutions.\
The event brings together representatives from Taiwan's Ministry of Digital Affairs (MODA), the Taiwan Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers' Association (TEEMA), GlobalPlatform, Institute for Information Industry (III), Winbond Electronics Corporation, TrustCB and other key stakeholders from the chip security and certification ecosystem.
Participants will gain practical insights into:
- The latest developments in Post-Quantum Cryptography and their impact on the semiconductor industry.
- EU CRA requirements, obligations, compliance timelines, and enforcement expectations.
- CRA conformity assessment and testing approaches.
- Practical implementation of CRA requirements from an integrated circuit and hardware perspective.
- Certifiable Hardware Security IP and security-by-design approaches.
- Alignment between Taiwan's chip security standards and European regulatory requirements.
- Integration of SESIP and international standards to support CRA compliance.
- Practical methodologies and verification techniques for chip security testing.
The seminar provides a unique platform for industry professionals, technology providers, and semiconductor manufacturers to exchange knowledge and discuss practical strategies for achieving trusted, secure, and globally compliant chip solutions in the era of emerging cyber regulations and quantum-resistant technologies.
