PSA Certified is a global standard that the electronics industry uses to enable trust in connected systems. It defines easy to understand levels of robustness and assurance for the Root of Trust (RoT) of a System on Chip (SoC) that OEMs and Cloud Service Providers can specify. PSA Certified is a high quality security evaluation scheme that uses the SESIP evaluation methodology for higher level chip certifications and a security by design approach at PSA Certified Level 1 that can also be used at the device or software platform scope. Alignment to important cybersecurity legislation and security specifications helps reduce industry fragmentation and provides a common security framework that can be widely applied.
