We are gearing up for our Spring Meetings, taking place March 31 – April 4 in New Orleans. View the schedule of meetings and register here.

During the Spring Meetings, along with meetings of our committees and taskforces, we are also hosting a Financial Services Workshop on March 31, gathering industry stakeholders to explore the emerging trends and security threats impacting financial services. This event is open to both members* and non-members. We encourage you to invite your colleagues from relevant companies or organizations. View the agenda.

Additionally, we will be holding a Cybersecurity Vehicle Forum on April 3 to discuss in-depth topics impacting automotive cybersecurity such as security for MCUs and micro-TEEs, key management, protection profiles in automotive and more. Register here. For added context, Automotive Lead, Francesca Forestieri recently published this blog – Transforming Vehicle Cybersecurity: A Smarter Path to Regulatory Compliance.

Through the month of March, there are a number of additional trainings and other events taking place:

Secure Element Trainings - Brussels

• March 17-18 - SE for EUDI (Secure Element for European Union Digital Identity).
• March 19 - Java Card Development on SE for EUDI Training.

For specific detail on EUDI implementations, the eID Wallet Task Force has issued a new whitepaper outlining the role GlobalPlatform compliant SEs play in securing the future of EUDI – read it here.

Additionally, GlobalPlatform CTO, Gil Bernabeu wrote a recent blog on the subject  – Don’t reinvent the wheel: Existing standards can deliver security, scalability and interoperability for EUDI Wallets.

IoT Cyber Compliance Day at EU Cyber Acts Conference

• GlobalPlatform is hosting the IoT Cyber Compliance Day at the EU Cyber Acts Conference
• Carlos Serratos and Olivier Van Nieuwenhuyze will also be speaking in the main conference in the Cyber Resilience Act Track.
