This Financial Services Workshop is organized by GlobalPlatform and will occur during the annual Spring Meetings week. It is open to members and non-member organizations in the financial services industry.
Overview
The financial services industry is witnessing a remarkable shift towards the adoption of technology to support its services and operations. From the introduction of digital currencies and mobile wallets to the adoption of artificial intelligence, these emerging trends are already making an impact in our day-to-day lives.
GlobalPlatform technologies have always been the cornerstone of security and privacy supporting the financial services industry. This workshop is intended to allow our members and other financial services stakeholders to discuss emerging trends, recent developments on GlobalPlatform technologies (e.g. new card specification, Secure Application for Mobile) and next steps that might be required to future-proof the industry.
