This document extends the GlobalPlatform Card Specification with a secure channel and key establishment protocol, altogether known as the Opacity Secure Channel or Secure Channel Protocol '22'. The Opacity Secure Channel establishment method includes multiple modes:
- Opacity ZKM and Opacity FS as defined in [ANSI 504-1]
- Opacity Blinded Mode as defined in this specification
Based on a request from EMVCo, the specification now also includes Chinese cryptographic algorithms where the normative references are available in Chinese only.
