CEA-Leti is an institute within the French research-and-technology organization, CEA which specializes in the research of nanotechnologies and their applications. CEA-Leti’s Information Technology Security Evaluation Facilities (ITSEF) performs security evaluations of components and devices to assess their resistance to breaches that could compromise user data.

CEA-Leti’s ITSEF is licensed to perform Common Criteria evaluations in the context of the French Certification Scheme. It is also licensed by the major worldwide banking schemes (EMVCo, MASTERCARD, VISACARD) to perform security evaluations of integrated circuits and smartcards.
