SmartTrust Brings Mobile Expertise To GlobalPlatform Membership
02 April, 2007 – SmartTrust has announced its membership to smart card international specifications body, GlobalPlatform. As a leading provider in mobile device management and SIM based services for mobile operators, SmartTrust is committed to developing and promoting interoperable specifications for the entire smart card infrastructure – a stance that is reflected in its decision to join GlobalPlatform.
As a Participating Member of GlobalPlatform, SmartTrust will actively contribute to the technical activities of GlobalPlatform’s Systems Committee. Additionally, the company will participate in the Advisory Council which helps to align technical and market requirements with the strategy and technology developments of GlobalPlatform’s working groups.
Through its GlobalPlatform membership, SmartTrust will be in a position to combine its technical expertise for building comprehensive mobile operator management solutions with an increased awareness on the importance of systems interoperability, allowing it to educate the mobile communications market on the long-term effectiveness and technology investment protection GlobalPlatform Specifications provide.
