Ranycon Technologies Sees Value in GlobalPlatform Membership
16 April 2009 – GlobalPlatform, the international specification body for smart card infrastructure , has welcomed another Consultant Member to the organization – Ranycon Technologies . The Hungarian-based company offers strategic advice and support on projects related to mobile and mobile contactless in order to assist its customers in strengthening their market presence.
Ranycon Technologies is the key consultant partner of StoLPaN, the pan-European consortium which aims to define open frameworks for NFC-enabled services on mobile devices, an organization which GlobalPlatform recently aligned with to ensure long-term compatibility between their respective approaches to NFC technology development. As a Consultant Member, Ranycon Technologies will bring the knowledge gained from its strong involvement in StoLPaN to GlobalPlatform’s Mobile Task Force, as well as participating in the Advisory Council to discuss the future technical and business decisions of the association.
