14 December 2011 –   GlobalPlatform today announced that Broadcom Corporation, a global innovation leader in semiconductor solutions for wired and wireless communications, has joined the organization as an Observer Member. Broadcom is a leading supplier of some of the most ubiquitous wireless technologies in the world and currently ranks as the most innovative semiconductor company on the Fortune 500.
