Over the past year, GlobalPlatform has continued to expand its role at the heart of the digital security ecosystem, bringing stakeholders together to address shared challenges and support the technologies shaping the future of digital trust. Our 2026 Annual Report highlights key achievements across our technology domains, industries and global membership.
This year, we launched the Pavona open silicon initiative, expanded our digital identity work into digital wallets and digital currencies, and strengthened our automotive activities through growing engagement with OEMs and suppliers, including welcoming Stellantis and Toyota to our membership. We also expanded our international reach, hosting our Spring Meeting in Bangkok for the first time and bringing industry leaders together to explore critical issues including the EU Cyber Resilience Act.
Looking ahead, our focus will be on enabling regulatory compliance through SESIP, supporting secure digital identity at scale, preparing Secure Elements for post-quantum cryptography, and advancing security for the software-defined vehicle. With a strong foundation and an increasingly diverse global community, GlobalPlatform is well positioned to continue driving collaboration and innovation across the digital security ecosystem.
