Letter from GlobalPlatform’s Executive Director

As we move into the year at pace, GlobalPlatform’s industry engagement is accelerating. March will see our representatives on the ground at three major global events — MWC Barcelona, Embedded World, and the EU Cyber Acts Conference — connecting with stakeholders across mobile, embedded systems, and cybersecurity policy communities.

These events provide an important platform to highlight how GlobalPlatform’s specifications and certification programs — including SESIP and PSA Certified — support secure digital services, strengthen compliance readiness, and enable interoperable security across industry verticals.

Spring Member Meeting – 20-24 April – Bangkok
Momentum continues into April, when we bring our community together in Bangkok for the Spring Member Meeting, reinforcing our commitment to engaging with our Asian membership base. Hosting the meeting in Asia provides an important opportunity to deepen regional collaboration and ensure global alignment across our working groups.

Meetings across our committees and task forces will include discussion of key topics such as Post-Quantum Cryptography in Secure Elements, Automotive Security, SESIP ecosystem expansion, Digital Wallets, Identity and Currencies, and the Trusted Open Source Silicon project.
 

In addition to the committee and task force meetings, GlobalPlatform is also hosting a critical event for IoT security and regulatory compliance – the CRA Conformance Summit: Practical Compliance of CRA based on SESIP & PSA Certified, sponsored by Infineon.

This summit offers a strategic opportunity to understand how international standards like SESIP and PSA Certified can streamline your path to compliance, regardless of where your products are developed. This event will be open to both members and non-members; we encourage you to invite relevant industry colleagues.
