Letter from GlobalPlatform’s Executive Director

It’s been a very productive month since my last update. The 10th annual Japan Task Force Advisory Council meeting took place in Tokyo, and we jointly hosted the 6th annual Secure Device Forum with the NICSS organization.

We also began celebrating GlobalPlatform’s 20th anniversary, which kicks off with a Q&A from the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Nils Gerhardt!

In August, we move closer to our Asian technical workshops, with our Seoul, Korea event taking place on the 27th of this month.

Enjoy further information on these topics and more below!

GlobalPlatform 20th Anniversary Q&A

As part of the celebrations for 20 years of GlobalPlatform, we caught up with Chairman of the Board, Nils Gerhardt, who gave his assessment of the organization’s past and present, along with thoughts about the future.

Additionally, in preparation for the upcoming fall meetings in Madrid, we are inviting members to contribute to our 20th anniversary celebration directly.

We plan to create a short video that showcases your congratulatory messages about this milestone achievement.

Please share photos of your team, a video message of congratulations, your story about how GlobalPlatform has helped your organization meet its goals, or the value you receive from being a GlobalPlatform member, for example.

We will combine all contributions into an entertaining video to be shared during the meeting in Madrid.

We welcome all contributions so BE CREATIVE!

To make it as easy as possible, we’ve created an open Dropbox which members can contribute to directly. We look forward to seeing your contribution, and to celebrating this significant milestone with you!
