Mr. Gerhardt is GlobalPlatform's Chairman and also serves as Co-Chair of the IoT Task Force. Mr. Gerhardt joined Giesecke & Devrient MS (G+D MS) in 2004, and as Group VP and head of product and project management, production IT and professional services for the region AMERICAS, has global product responsibility for financial institutions. Within this role he oversees product and project management, including product marketing and certification. Mr. Gerhardt joined the GlobalPlatform Board of Directors in 2015 and also serves as Co-Chair of the  IoT Task Force.
