Secure Element Training

GlobalPlatform has restructured and expanded its Secure Element (card) training program in response to the latest industry demands and developments. The training now offers a more in-depth understanding of the GlobalPlatform SE Specifications. In the two-day session, and an optional third classroom day is now offered and will focus on either payments/mobile contactless, government ID or IoT Platform Security.

Building on the knowledge gained in the two-day session, an optional third classroom day is now offered and will focus on either payments/mobile contactless or mobile identity.

Course Description - Two-day Classroom Training

Our highly successful SE training provides an in-depth explanation of the GlobalPlatform Card Specifications. This technical training program, hosted by experts, demonstrates how GlobalPlatform Card Specifications can be used to support the delivery of digital services in different markets for industrial and consumer use cases. The instructor-led, interactive two-day course has been attended by hundreds of product developers, system integrators, chip manufacturers, and service providers looking to effectively implement the GlobalPlatform Card Specifications into their own business models and product offerings, resulting in significant cost and time-to-market savings.

This is the most comprehensive SE training offered by GlobalPlatform. Please note that this course is taught in English.

Course Description - Payment/Mobile Contactless

Our Payments/Mobile Contactless Training provides stakeholders with the knowledge they need to develop and launch secure digital payment services. The session features NFC Device Architecture, mobile wallets, including TEE and host card emulation (HCE), and Amendment C, concerning contactless services. It also extensively covers UICC and SE configurations, multi-Secure Element, and GlobalPlatform’s End-to-End Simplified Framework: Payment.

This optional one-day course, for which the SE training is a prerequisite, has been attended by hundreds of product makers, system integrators, chip manufacturers, and service providers looking to effectively implement the GlobalPlatform Contactless Specifications and Configurations into their own business models and product offerings, resulting in significant cost and time-to-market savings.

The session features GlobalPlatform’s Secure Platform specifications and IoT Configurations, advanced authentication mechanisms, Root of Trust (RoT) Services, and Network Framework, as well as providing an introduction to the tools available to build secure applications including the Open Mobile API.

This optional one-day course for which the SE training is a prerequisite, is new the GlobalPlatform training portfolio. The training is targets product makers, system integrators, chip manufacturers, and service providers looking to effectively use the services provided by the GlobalPlatform IoT Configurations and Platform Specifications for their own business models and product offerings, resulting in significant cost and time-to-market savings.
