Seminar Overview

GlobalPlatform is pleased to announce its 7th Annual Seminar in Shenzhen, China.

Join us for a special technical workshop on Tuesday, 24 September 2019 and the seminar on Wednesday, 25 September, as we explore "Security in our Connected World."

Last year’s successful event provided a platform for influential industry players to network and discuss the key trends impacting the secure digital service and device marketplace. Our largest seminar to date, we saw over 200 delegates from 92 companies, representing 12 different countries, come together. These delegates included CEOs, CTOs, CIOs, engineers, application developers, product/project managers, business development and marketing executives, as well as government agencies overseeing policy and governance.

This year, GlobalPlatform’s seminar will examine critical security technologies, such as the Trusted Execution Environment (TEE) and Secure Element (SE), and delve into their associated business and technical use cases. We will explore the role of the TEE and SE in simplifying and securing the rapidly evolving cloud, fog and device ecosystem.

Our seminar will focus on the latest developments and key topics, including the internet of things (consumer, industrial and enterprise), identification and authentication, payment and value-added services, premium content protection, device trust, certification and ecosystem security. As always, delegates will be able to witness ‘real world’ solutions from our sponsoring/exhibiting member organizations.

We look forward to seeing you in Shenzhen for this exciting event!

Delegates attending ‘Security in our Connected World’ will learn from some of the industry’s foremost experts on securing digital services and devices. Our Seminar Steering Committee carefully selects speakers that will inform and educate, ensuring maximum value for your time with us. We organize the seminar agenda to give priority not only to the presentations themselves, but also to the Q&A and panel sessions to follow. This structure allows delegates to ask questions directly to subject matter experts who understand the technology, use cases and best deployment practices.

The complete list of speakers will be announced shortly.
